Functional Lamp Shade Designed using an XBOX!!

I think that this year is going to be the year of interaction. 2012 the year that everything became:

Open source, Interactive, Arduinoed, interchangeable, hackable, DIYed, 

A perfect example of this can be seen here. A functional lampshade created using the tech inside the Xbox Kinetic system.


 I think its great to see people tapping into anything they have available to be creative.


Shit is getting smart! This isn't just making shelves out of  a couple breeze blocks and some planks of wood . People are beginning to understand the possibilities that come with knowing a little bit of programming and having a creative mind. To these people i take my hat off and only hope that one day my tech knowledge will be developed enough to open these doors of possibility!
